| How to Join Party SIG Members of British Mensa Members of British Mensa are allowed membership of two SIGs free of charge. If they wish to be members of more than two SIGs then a fee of £5 per SIG will be payable to cover costs. When the balance on the member's account runs low they will be asked for a top-up amount. Party SIG sends out monthly newsletters, so the £5 will probably last about a year. If a member is already of a member of two or more SIGs, one of which sends mailings less regularly than that, they are advised to take Party SIG as a free SIG and switch that other SIG to paying to make their money last longer. To apply to join click I am a member of British Mensa and want to join Party SIG. Members of other Mensas Members of other Mensas are allowed to join SIGs of British Mensa but will have to pay. When applying sufficient details need to be provided for the British Mensa office to be able to verify membership with the National or International Mensa office concerned. Once confirmed the applicant will be asked to pay the sum of £7.50 to cover costs, and will be asked to top up this amount as it runs low. It is estimated, depending on location, that this may cover about 1 year's issues. It should be added that Party SIG is largely about organising and advertising parties. Most of these will be in Britain, with the occasional party in Europe. If you still wish to apply click I am a member of a Mensa other than British Mensa and still wish to join.
